Studio certification is a review of original work. Academy lessons help you practise and earn XP; an issued certificate requires a separate practical assessment.
THE PROCESS
You can learn at your own pace. When your work is ready, follow these steps for a studio assessment.
Save original work and explain your contribution, tools and permissions.
Ask the studio for an assessment brief, then complete it yourself.
Provide three secure evidence links and discuss your decisions with assessors.
Two assessors review the six criteria before a certificate can be issued.
A pass requires at least 18/24, no criterion below 2/4, a completed unseen challenge, and cleared rights and provenance. Two separate assessors review the work.
CHOOSE A STANDARD
The six criteria below describe what assessors look for in each discipline.
Three original projects, an unseen brief and a process defense.
A storyboard, motion study, timing exercise, reference analysis and critique of a finished sequence.
A discovery conversation, scoped proposal, responsible pricing and a client handoff exercise.
This is a studio-issued credential. It is not government accreditation or an automatic endorsement by an employer or outside body. Pricing and client commitments in the sales pathway require studio management approval.
PUBLIC VERIFICATION
Enter the unique ID printed on the certificate. Private portfolio work stays private, and the holder’s name appears only with consent.
